Book Worm in Training

Ok so for anyone who REALLY knows me knows that I don't read. Hah that I can count how many books on one hand that I have read. But now that I have been home and watching tv and cleaning ALL the time I have gotten bored an needed to do something to work different parts of my brain! lol SO my sister recommended one book and my mom recommended another. I actually had two at home that I forgot I owned. So..This month ALONE I have read more books than I have in the last 7 years. lol
1. Ariana
2. Adam
3. Towers of Brierley

I have finished 3 books. I just started my moms recommondation. Ariana and Adam are church books. VERY good. Arianna is not the book a new mother would want to read but it has a great ending. If the author wasn't LDS I wouldn't have finished it. I would have stomped on it and threw it across the room. Adam is from the Charlie Series. Its the story of her son. Very good. I love ROMANCE! Now I have to say that Towers of Brierley TOTALLY got me into the mood to read more. I LOVED every minute of that book. I could hardly put it down. I am such a hopeless romantic. :) Next is a murder mystery book. I hope it has some romance in it. Although I don't know how they could with how it has started. But my mom liked it and I trust her. :)

Sunday Activities

8am: Go to church
11am: Go home and eat lunch and feed Kyson
12pm: Nap time for the whole family!!
3pm: Get a call from mom to come over QUICK!
3:30pm: Watch a Momma Cow try to give birth!!

Yes that was our Sunday in a nutshell. We got to see a baby cow be born! Well we didn't get to watch the actuall act. We were eating dinner. But we saw the babies legs coming out! Ouch! That is all I have to say. The baby is walking and its a BOY! Name has yet to be decided. lol

First Ouch!

Kyson had his first really big ouchy today. It was really sad! He was sitting in his Auntie's lap and neither her nor Grandpa Hahn were paying much attention I suppose and he was moving his arms around like normal when he finally connected with Grandpas mouth just as he was chewing his gum. OUCH! Grandpa bite his thumb. I was talking to Kurtis and looked over and Greg was like I bite him. I was like ok? I do that. And then looked at Kyson and he was absolutely FREAKING out. So I took him from Kelly and he cried and screamed for about 5-10 mins. I at first didn't see anything wrong with his hands but then Kurtis had me look at them again since he was still crying. Yep..his thumb. The side of thumb had a huge piece of skin hanging off of it and he was bleeding. Grandpa has some SHARP teeth! I couldn't imagine how hard it must have been. I mean carelessly chewing your gum..not a care in the world and then before you notice something foreign in your mouth you bite down again. Poor Greg felt so bad. But after Kyson had some juice and calmed down a bit he went right back over to him like nothing happened...and stuck his finger in his mouth! lol

Aunt Terries Wedding

Kurtis' Aunt Terrie was married August 16th and we all attened the festive occasion. I was the photographer believe it or not. That was very fun and some what stressful. I was nervous even though I had nothing to be nervous about. We all had a great time. Kelly, Tiffany, Kim and I helped decorate the site. Her colors were green and yellow, with sunflowers.

I was playing on the floor with him...video taping him manoover all over the place and he said it. MOMMA! Looking right at the camera and said it. OH how I loved to hear it. :) Its not just da da anymore. MOMMA has come and I Love it!

Too Cute For Words

My son is absolutely handsome, cute and adoreable! I can't seem to get enough of him. His cute little expressions and his laugh. He makes my heart skip a beat. He looks more and more like his daddy everyday. But a part of him looks like my dad too. Being a mother is a blessing that I am so grateful for everyday.
