First Haircut

Kurtis couldn't stand it any longer. He wanted to wait as long as possible to give our little boy his first haircut and well he caved and then made me cave. He has been talking about it for the last week so finally on Monday night we did it. Its not super short..but he isn't my BABY anymore. He looks like a TODDLER!! My sister informs me that me saying that means baby #2 should be on its way soon but I had to tell her that just isn't the case. I want to relish in having one child for a bit longer. Enjoy!

Stuffed Peppers

So I have been trying to come up with new recipes. I am sick of the same like 10 I always make and Kurtis is tired of chicken. So I made this... Stuffed Peppers! It was REALLY good! Not as complicated as I thought it would be. If you want the recipe let me know! Its very healthy!

Bubbles!!

So I finally went out and bought him some bubbles! I think he likes them..haha

but he has a hard time finding his toys now! Putting bubbles on his head! :0)

March Already?

I can't believe its March!? And the first weekend is gone already! We have something going on every weekend now I think until like April! Busy busy busy!!

Friday we drove up to Munds Park to spend the weekend with Kurtis' parents, Grandma Wanda and Aunt Shirley! We had so much fun! Kyson was up until 9:30pm the first night since he had a nap in the car on the way up. He was sure getting restless in his carseat but since he didn't have a good nap he fell asleep.

Saturday was a day full of relaxing and making crafts! Kim, Grandma, Shirley and I made sachets! In April I am throwing my BFF's Bridal Shower and Kim had the idea to make sachets for the favor boxes. They turned out so great! Now I just have to put a little saying on them. We made 35 tiny ones about 2x2'' and then about 10 5x7 size sachets. They smell so nice! After we were done with doing those we made...candles! Some yummy smelling ones and that and my wonderful mother in law gave me one of those! I love it! We had fun time just being together, talking and using our creative minds. Next on my mother in laws creative list...she bought a wood chipper to make fire starters and mulch for her garden. She is definately becoming Mrs. Suzy Homemaker! I am told she plans on selling her wonderful creations so I will be sure to let you all know how you can get your hands on them once she is ready. Kim made a yummy meal and we all stuffed our faces. After that Kurtis had to go home because he had some church duties early in the morning. We all were sad to see him go...but you do what you are called to do right?!

Sunday was another realxing day. Just playing with Kyson and talking. And of course eating yummy leftover homemade mac and cheese from the night before. We left at about 4pm and Kim dropped me off at my moms where Kurtis was for family dinner. Kyson was so sick of being in the car he cried the last 30-45mins. I think we definately need to travel at naptime or buy him a portable tv player!!
