Almost Time For Another Weekend

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

One of my friends found a site that makes these and I am becoming obsessed! I love them! They make such cute little accents to any site.

So whats new with us, nothing really. Kurtis and I are trying to clear out the Nursery. It is alot harder than we thought. We have so much stuff in it that we have to either sell it or find a new place for it. One thing I know we wont be getting rid of is my Hope Chest. But we have a bed and a dresser...I would like to keep the bed because then friends/family can use it when they come over ya know? But to put it in the office...that will make it cluttered which brings us to selling my Radio Tower and a desk. We have two desks right now. One for me and one for Kurtis. Which I love it that way. Scarpbooking on mine and blah work on his. So later on I will either be posting what we are selling..or telling you we will be having a garage sale. I might post things on Craigs List...that way I might get more for what we are selling but we haven't decided yet. Hopefully soon that room will be cleared out though because my baby furniture is on its way. :)

WIFE VS. HUSBAND
A couple drove down a
country road for several miles, not saying a word.
An earlier discussion had led to an argument and
neither of them wanted to concede their position.
As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs,
the husband asked sarcastically, "Relatives of yours?"
"Yep," the wife replied, "in-laws."

W O R D S

A husband read an article to his wife about how many words women use a
day...

30,000 to a man's 15,000. The wife replied, "The reason has to be because we have to repeat everything to men...The husband then turned to his wife and asked, "What?"

CREATION

A man said to his wife one day, "I don't know how you can be
so stupid and so beautiful all at the same time.
" The wife responded, "Allow me to explain.
God made me beautiful so you would be attracted to me;
God made me stupid so I would be attracted to you!

WHO DOES WHAT

A man and his wife were having an argument about who
should brew the coffee each morning.
The wife said, "You should do it, because you get up first,
and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee."
The husband said, " You are in charge of cooking around here and
you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my
coffee."
Wife replies, "No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible
that the man should do the coffee."
Husband replies, "I can't believe that, show me."
So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament
and showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed
says.........."HEBREWS"

The Silent Treatment

A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving
each other the silent treatment. Suddenly, the man realized that the next
day, he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning
business flight.
Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on
a piece of paper,"Please wake me at 5:00 AM ." He left it where he knew she would find it.
The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM
and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and
see why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by
the bed. The paper said, "It is 5:00 AM . Wake up."
Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.

God may have created man before woman,
but there is always a rough draft before the masterpiece.

Cowboy Wedding Weekend

The weekend is over. Again. Its always hard to go back to work on Mondays. Kurtis and I had driven up to Cottonwood this weekend for a family wedding. His cousin finally tied the knot saturday. It was a small wedding but very cute! I think that if done right you can have a tiny simple wedding and it can be so beautiful. There is no need to spend the ridiculous amounts of $30,000 or more. Even $15,000 is alot. That can still buy you a decent car. Kurtis' cousin Mike is a cowboy. So country music was playing none stop and he, just like much of Kurtis' family was done up in cowboy get-up. It was a sight to see let me tell you. Kurtis would love to own a horse someday and show his cowboy inside but me...I'd rather not see that! :) He does look pretty sexy in those hats though. They had cute cowboy books with flowers in them for the center pieces. Christmas lights for lighting. They did a yummy BBQ for dinner. The family drank and we all danced. No fights. THANK GOODNESS! Everything was fun and smooth. Kurtis even got up and danced with me! By the end of the night my feet were swollen and hurt really bad. And sadly the pedicure that I got the day before with my friend...Kurtis has two left feet sometimes and ruined it a tiny bit. lol But thats ok. I can go and get another one in a few weeks. Ready for another Ashlee? :)
We were able to stay with our friends/cousins..Dustin, Liz and there little boy Kohl. They used to live just 5 mintues away from up but moved to Beaver Creek about a month ago. They have made such a nice house. It was very fun staying with them. No drama! :) Kurtis was playing daddy a little bit this weekend. It was hard to not just sit there and stare and see what kind of a wonderful dad he is going to be with our kids. He held Kohl and he fell asleep and then he went and got Gage (our other little cousin) and played with him and hugged him and was just being so cute! I can't wait!
We got home sometime in the afternoon yesterday and we just hung out. Relaxed and watched some Greys Anatomy! I'm obsessed I know. But I just can't help it! I think that is all to report...

Weekend Events

The weekend has come and gone and I am sad. It was a nice relaxing one. Friday after work, my mom, sisters and I went to BabiesRUs where we picked out the crib and changing table I will be getting. The coupon I had didn't work until today so I am going back to get it. The website doesn't have a picture up of the changing table...its black too of course and has like 6 drawers and a center cabinet with two shelves inside. I am very excited!!
<-------------
The bedding I would like is from Potterybarn. I haven't been in there yet I found the pattern online. I plan on getting roman shades and maybe a blackout shade for the one window in the room too. I think those curtains will make it all to busy. The nursery is set, now I just have to purchase these items, paint and set up the room! I think I am ahead of schedule...but I can't help it. I want to get it all put together. ----------->

This is the chair that I want. Yes its from Pottery Barn. I can't help it if I have expensive taste. I don't mean to! But it comes with a slip cover and that means easy clean. And they are some comfortable! So maybe I will get it. I hope I do! :)
<------------

Now beyond baby shopping Saturday was a day to relax for me. I sat in my pajamas all day working on my scrapbooking. Yep, I finally got my bridal shower done and my wedding. Hey its only been like two years! :) But I do need to go and make some more copies. I didn't have any of the cake or garter toss. But its mostly done. I have two books. One that I scrapped and one that I just slid pictures in with ALL the wedding pictures. So a variety is nice right? Kurtis on the other hand was working in the backyard all satruday. He was a sweetheart and got my oil changed and car washed while he went to Home Depot. He worked on the irrigation and drip line. To our complete and horrible saddness....our LOVELY bratty dog doug it up. This morning I checked on her and noticed that the wires were all ripped out of the ground. Kurtis was sure to bary everything and the little turd found it all. Its so heartbreaking, you just feel so violated by this dog that you love and you don't know what to do. You can't train her not to do something when you don't catch her in the act. And its sad to say we both thought maybe we need to get rid of her because she is going to tear up everything! But we don't want to. We just want her to be the little angel we know is in there somewhere. I don't think we could ever get rid of her. But I do know it would be FAR tempting if she does this again once the whole backyard is done. Kurtis' parents put up a tiny shock wire in there backyard and so we are going to do the same. That means....the grass will probably get dug up. But we are going to try. That is easier to fix than everything else.

Sunday was church. We went and were told of the Ward split. We are no longer in Pecan Creek 1st. We are now going to be apart of the Morning Side Ward and its at....8AM! Ya...8AM! We are not very happy about this. It was kinda sad saying goodbye to all of our little ones in our class. But its good. We are happy to be able to go back to Relief Society and Priesthood. But you know we will probably just recieve another calling.

A Fun Filled Weekend

I am offically in my 22nd week of pregnancy and I just can't believe it! I am so thrilled how things are going and I just can't wait to see my little man. Saturday was kind of interesting, my sister in law told me that she thought I might be having braxton hicks contractions but my uterus wasn't "tightening" at this that isn't how I would describe it. Like I wasn't in pain...I was just very uncomfortable. Like my organs were being pushed up in my ribs. I went home and laid down for about an hour or 2 and thankfully it went away. Yesterday we watched the Labor Day Marathon. lol Get it? lol It was Labor day and discover channel had Special Delivery "Babies" on like all day. It was very neat to watch. Some were sad stories and my mother-in-law was like, WHY ARE YOU WATCHING THIS? lol But after watching some of it, man, I think I might want a c-section! lol I am so scared of having the IV in my back! ACK! But we had a relaxing yet some what ackward weekend up north. Everyone is still sad about our loss and people were crying and just trying to not talk about it or think about it. But I guess my mother-in-law is a little tramatized from watching her Aunt die. I wish there was something that I could do or say. But I just gave her a hug.

Last night when we got home I let Klohe in to play and I was watching her then noticed something wasn't right with her bum...so I laid her down and yep....SHE'S IN HEAT! Her very first. I'm told that when you get them fixed they calm down alot. So that will be nice. But she did get some blood on the tile and the carpet. That was kinda yuck. So she wasn't happy when I made her go back outside. But I played with her back there for awhile. Poor thing. She doesn't know what the heck to do. She was just whinning for me this morning. This is my first time having a girl dog. First time really having my own dog and being old enough to understand what all is going on. So I was like, AW call your mom! (to Kurtis) lol That was something very interesting to come home to.

I do have a kinda funny story. We made some friends in our neighborhood and we went to this resturant called Ah-So with them. They make your food right infront of you. Well the funny thing is when we sat down we noticed the other couple at the table was pregnant. We thought, "Hey thats funny 3 pregnant women."....then the last couple showed up and yep she was pregnant too! lol. Around the table it was 9m, 9m, 8m, and me 5 months. The chef noticed and went around the table. He was like I will get this right. Atleast 75%. HE DID! He guessed what everyone was having it was hilarious. 3 boys and 1 girl. I swear it is the year of the boys. Crazy! lol Then he went around the table asking what the names were going to be. Everyone thinks we are saying TYson. I hate it. So I say the name and then spell it out so they understand what I am saying. But I don't want to change the name. My poor son. He will go through what I did. But once people read it then it will be ok. lol
